Summer Camp - 2024 Chandernhan Lake Altitude: 4,200m /13,860 feet Ave. Temp: Day time -: 13-18°C & Night time -: 0-7°C Trek Length: 20km (one-way)
ITINERARY
Day:1 Train Journey Depature from Bhuj by Barely Exp. @ 6 pm Food on Own DAY 2 Travel Day Arrival @ Old Delhi Railway Station & Transfer to New Delhi Railway Station by Metro. Board on Kalka Shatabdi (for Delhi Reporting Arrival @ Kalka Railway Station in the late evening. Transfer to Club's vehicle & journey starts for the Base Camp DEUDI/JANGLIK. (230 kms/8 hrs) (H: 9200 Feet) Drive through the beautiful valley, en-route Khadapathar or via Narkanda and Rohru. Lunch on own Dinner on route & Over Night Travelling. *DAY 3 A day At Leisure Reached BC early in the morning. Breakfast will be served on arrival. After briefing, accommodation will be allotted. Post lunch Team building & Fun Games followed by High Tea. The day ends with the bonfire, after dinner. Overnight at DEUDI village. *DAY 04: Acclimatization Day* - Wake-up followed by meditation. After breakfast. Acclimatization Hike & Team building & Fun Games. It’s an Acclimatization Day. The group has to acclimatize as this location is at a high altitude. Pre Lunch there will be an Acclimatization Hike to the nearby Village as well as into the wilderness, Where you can see snow capped picks and you can enjoy Nature. Returning Back to Base Camp - Lunch will be served Post Lunch: Time for Team Building activities or Adventure activities Evening Tea & Refreshments followed by Luggage packup for the trek. Dinner will follow by bonfire. DAY 5 - Trekking Day DEUDI/JANGLIK TO SIMBAR THACH ( 6 Kms / 4 to 5 hrs. 11075 Feet) Start leisurely. One can explore the village. The village is purely heritage and picturesque. After breakfast trek towards SIMBAR Thach. The trek winds through the thick forests, beautiful meadows and grassy land ascents. It's a moderate trek , takes around 4-5 hours to reach Dayara Thach. Lunch - High' Tea - Soup - Dinner and night stay at beautiful meadow Dayara Thach. Simber Thach is the Most Beautiful Place in this trek. That long Meadows with Herds will definitely steal your heart. DAY 6 Trekking Day SIMBER THACH TO MOUNTI THACH ( 7 Kms/. 5 to 6 Hrs. / 11737 feet) Lunch - High' Tea - Soup - Dinner DAY 7 Trekking Day CHANDERNAHAN WATERFALL & SEVEN GLACIAR PONDS & Back to MOUNTI THACH ( 5 Kms +5 kms (return) / 5 to 6 Hrs. / 13900 feet) Today is a tough day. After early breakfast start an excursion to Litham Thach.These meadows are truly heaven for nature's lover. After 4 hours of steep ascend you will reach Chandrnahan waterfall. Now enjoy the beauty of Nature as you are in front of the beautiful Chandernahan waterfall. These Seven Glaciar Ponds are the source of the Pabbar river. The fifth one is the biggest one. After enjoying snow, waterfall & lake return to Mounti Thach Lunch - High Tea - Soup - Dinner - Bone Fire DAY 8 - Trekking Day MOUNTI THACH TO BASECAMP DEUDI ( 13-14 Kms/. 5 to 6 Hrs.) Start leisurely after breakfast start excursion back to basecamp DEUDI through Dayara Thach. Enjoy dinner and sleep under the stars in the Base Camp. DAY 09 :Travel Day & Shimla Sightseeing (145 Kms/ 6-8 Hrs Drive) After an early breakfast departure from Camp for The Beautiful Hill Station Shimla. Lunch on route In the evening enjoy the night beauty of Mall Road & Ridge (Shimla) Dinner by own Night stay in Hotel/resort in the outskirts of Shimla. Day 10 *Sightseeing * After Fresh n up & Breakfast. Enjoy time in leisure- Shimla Sightseeing or Visit Shimla Market once again. In the late evening report @ Shimla Bus Stop. Board on the bus for Delhi. Overnight Bus Journey. DAY 11: Early Morning Reach @ Delhi Bus Adda & Departure for your sweet home with life's most memorable experience & bucket full of new friends. DAY 12 Arrival @ Bhuj Railway Station @ 8 am

*Two pairs of Track- Sweat Pants / Full trousers & T-shirt (Sweat)/Cotton Shirts (Jeans & Tight pants are not advisable) * 1 thermal wear. * 1 Full sleeves woolen sweater/windproof jacket/ * Fleece / Sleeveless woolen sweater * 1 waterproof jacket/Light Raincoat/Rainsheet (Poncho)/ Light Umbrella * 1 woollen cap/ head warp, * Woolen & waterproof Gloves * 3 pairs of socks and inner wear. *Tracking shoes. * Sandal/Floater/Crock *Sunglasses * 2 Water bottle. *Headlamp or torch * 1 Light bedsheet *Sunscreen lotion, Lip balm, Personal medical kit. * Personal toiletry Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Liquid shop, Sanatizer, toilet paper -All the above items should be packed in a backpack (will provided by the club) * 2 Extra pairs of clothes for Traveling & Shimla Sightseeing days.
